Be skeptical of SPF rating claims made by pet sunscreens
The FDA does not test sunscreens for pets. Many companies use chemicals made for humans to give their product an SPF rating. Use of these chemicals can be dangerous to your dog. Just ask your veterinarian
Beach & Dog Co. Canine Sunscreen is an all natural, organic formula designed to lower your dog's risk of sun overexposure. Rub on sensitive snouts and exposed skin to moisturize and protect. Our formula uses bentonite clay and organic oils to reduce UVA and UVB exposure while nourishing your dog's skin.
Organic coconut Oil, Aloe Vera, Grape Seed Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Bentonite Clay, Lavender EO, Peppermint EO, and Myrrh EO
Prior to playing in the sun, apply a generous amount to dog’s nose, muzzle, ears, belly, and any areas where skin is showing. Reapply after swimming. Keep away from eyes and genitals. Discontinue usage if there is any adverse reaction.
This product contains essential oils that may be harmful to cats. Cats lack the liver enzyme glucuronyl tranferase that allow them to break down compounds found in essential oil. Please do not use this product on cats.

My white dog's muzzle top is a little sparse on fur. This product is very easy to apply, and my dog's muzzle has not been sunburned.
Love this product! Second year of purchase for my red-nosed Pittie who loves her sunbathing (I also use it for her creamy white belly) and it has performed very well - no burns, easy to apply and it's safe for her! I have even used for me!
It lasts a really long time, no matter if my pup is digging or playing in the water. We go rafting a lot, and our dog is white, so its crucial she is protected by good sunscreen. This stuff really does the trick!
The canine sunscreen works pretty well on our Sadie Girl’s nose. Even if she gets a little pink, by morning she’s fine. Kind of hard to keep her from licking it off though. But it really does help. Thank you!
