I was only expecting a liner but to my surprise it also came with a pillow, which I love! I am looking forward to purchasing more once they have more options for my type of basket and to my liking.
I am in LOVE with my new Beach & Dog Co. basket! I purchased the rear mount basket for my e-bike. It fits perfectly (had to figure out a new way to mount due to a tail light). It is very securely attached and I feel confident putting my beloved pup in it for a ride. My dog can sit or lay down. I purchased the strap that clips to her harness. There is no way for her to jump out or get bumped out. It’s very secure! My dog is 11lb terrier mix. She has plenty of room. A heavier dog would fit, no problem. The basket is beautifully made and is super sturdy. I love the area made available for clipping your dog in. I’ve never seen that in a regular bike basket. They thought of everything when designing their baskets. I highly recommend purchasing their basket liner. It has a nice cushion, made to fit the basket of your choice. The fabric is really nice and vibrant and is secured with a coordinating ribbon. It’s super cute!! Overall, I give my basket a 9 out of 10 only because we had to figure out a bit of a different way to mount it to our e-bike. With the rise in popularity of e-bikes I’m sure they will re-engineer that mounting process to simplify the process.
My old girl D’Arcy all of sudden started slipping around on the laminate wood flooring in our apartment the past few months and, with her hip arthritis, she’d take a pretty good spill and then have slippy problems getting up. So I researched around and found this product. I really like that it’s organic and non-toxic for her.. This product seems to make her foot pads more supple so they are grippier on the smooth flooring. It’s like her natural “tread” is working again because she never used to have these slippy problems. I’m adding a photo of one of her back paws that shows the hard wax buildup that helps her “get a grip” and the suppleness of her paws now. D’Arcy and I appreciate y’all taking the time to create products that are organic and non-toxic but also work as promised.
This rear basket is just what we were looking for. Muffin is a larger size Yorkie and fits wonderfully in it!
We took a risk because we had the backpack carrier but Teddy barked all the way back and forth when we rode our bikes. But this time he was quiet and happy! I have to say he jumped out three minutes after I started riding my bike so we explained and my husband was riding his bike saying “stay”. Teddy understood and for the next one hour he was there without any show! The park was a little full even in quarantine and people were waving and saying “hi” to us and Teddy!
We absolutely love our basket! Perfect for taking rides around with our cavalier King Charles spaniel. The basket is very well made and looks great on the back of my bike. The cushion makes him very comfortable and I feel good that he is super safe and secure back there! Thank you so much!
Amazing Product!
My boxer has diagnosed canine solar dermatitis. We live at the beach and she loves the water and loves to paddle board with me. This is the ONLY product that protects her 100%. Before using this, she would break out in hives after only 10-15 minutes in the sun. Now, thanks to Beach&Dog, she can play as long as she wants and has no issues. It has aloe and natural oils which are good for her too! Best product on the market!
We love this basket because our 12 year old, 18 lb Shitzu/Cocker cross loves it. He can’t wait to get in and sits comfortably for long family bike rides. Great product and very easy to switch from bike to bike if needed.
The liner and pillow make it a great “dog taxi”!
This dog carrier basket is not just beautiful but also very well made. It is strong and secure, and simple to clip on over the handlebars. The cloth lining and cushion make this super comfortable and easy to clean.
The fasteners keep my pup safely in place, and he loves going for a ride and enjoying the sights.
We rescued him a couple months ago and he is growing a little more than expected, so we may need to upgrade to a basket that fits on the back of bike as steering can be a little difficult. He is 22-pounds now, so time will tell, but I am extremely pleased with the basket!
This is an absolutely awesome buy - it is well worth the price. Not only does my dog loves it, but she also enjoys taking rides anywhere. We get a lot of compliments anywhere we go and, cars would even slow down to either take a good look, enjoy the scenery or take photos! Love it!
I have searched everywhere for a large bicycle basket for my dogs and finally found it!!! I have a 5lb morkie and 13lb miniature poodle. They both fit in at the same time, but it does make it harder to steer with both of them at once. (I have a small women’s cruiser type bike) Installation is so simple and it is very sturdy and secure. Plenty of room inside of the basket to carry other items as well. I absolutely love this basket! I also purchased the cover and pillow, which I am glad I did. It’s adorable.
I loved the colors of this and it makes for a nice soft ride for Sam. The pillow lifts him up a little bit so he doesn't sit so low in the basket. It does tie on and I just tightened up the ties a little to make it more secure. I love how it looks and that Sam is comfortable. I purchased the basket and liner together so everything was assembled when I got it. Packaged very nicely.
My dog was a rescue and has big time separation anxiety. I needed a way to include him in my hobby of bike riding. There are almost zero choices for a 20 lb dog. He still prefers to look at me during our bike rides instead of sniffing the wind like a typical dog, but he is very content in his cozy basket. I also love that it is easy to put on and take off my bike too!
First, when I went to purchase a basket so I could take my 6.5 pound yorkie with me, they were all sold out. I checked everywhere, including Ebay. People do not sell these baskets once they get them. I went ahead and ordered the medium size but included a note that if the smaller cam available that I would like it instead. Jason contacted me and let me know he had (3) in reserve for exchanges. He said he would give me the size I wanted and refund the difference! I was so excited. It only took about a week for it to get here and it is lovely. Rosie loves to go for rides in it. Jason, thank you for the wonderful customer service. It means so much! You will not be disappointed with this basket. The frame makes it sit securely on your bike for a wiggle free ride.
I absolutely love this basket. My little chihuahua fits perfect with a ton of room left. It’s super easy to take on & off & is very stable. Thanks for such a great product. During these not so easy times it’s been wonderful to put her in the basket & get outside for a nice ride!
